FindGasStation is a free lookup tool: 8,470 gas stations across California, searchable by ZIP code, city, or your location — sorted by distance, with recorded fuel options (Diesel, E85, Premium, EV charging, Propane, CNG), hours where known, and one-tap Apple Maps or Google Maps directions. No signup, nothing between you and the results.
Station data comes from the OpenStreetMap community, used under the Open Database License (ODbL). It is community-maintained, so completeness varies: a missing fuel chip means that detail isn’t on record, not that the station doesn’t offer it. No station-brand affiliation is claimed.
We list no fuel prices by design — prices change hourly and no licensed statewide feed exists, so any number printed here would be stale or invented. A small number of stations may carry a Featured label — a curated editorial highlight; the underlying data on those cards comes from the same community records as every other listing.
The directory is rebuilt from the source data twice monthly. Between refreshes a station can change hours, rebrand, or close — confirm locally before a long drive.
FindGasStation is one of the Cal Auto Doors directories — free California automotive lookup tools built from public records and community data, maintained by a California-based operations team.
Spotted a station that’s wrong, missing, or closed? This site mirrors OpenStreetMap, so the fastest fix is at the source: correct the station on openstreetmap.org and the change lands here on the next twice-monthly refresh.
FindGasStation is a directory, not a booking or pricing service — for anything about a specific station, contact that station directly.
